International Copyright Enterprise Germany GmbH (ICE), the leading business services company offering rights management solutions to the Music Industry, is looking for a Data Migration Lead.

As ICE builds on its recent growth, adding new customers and services to its portfolio, we are strengthening our delivery capability in the area of Professional Services. Next step is to add a Data Migration Lead to our team in Berlin. We are looking for a candidate who shares our compassion for creating customer value and service excellence, with the background of extensive, complex data migration experience.

Data Migration Lead (m/f)

Role / Responsibilities

A central component in the role as a Data Migration Lead is to be, within our strategic customer take on projects, responsible for major data migration activities. To lead migration activities in order to achieve successful customer take on within budget and to agreed schedule, leading problem solving and coaching the team in a hands-on way with the backup of deep knowledge of best practice. You will also have a supporting role in pre-sale activities initiating data assessment and customer readiness analyses. Role highlights include:

  • As SME provide expertise in all data migration related matters

  • Process owner for the Data Migration Process and tools

  • Initiate and drive improvements in the area of Data Migration and collaborate with other key functions within ICE

  • Actively contribute to the development and quality assurance of ICE outsourcing services and supporting IT application portfolio.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record and experience of data migration in a data intensive industry (rights management, financial services, telecoms or business process outsourcing) and leading cross-functional teams, preferable in an international environment. You shall furthermore have experience and knowledge within the areas of customer management, requirement management, quality assurance, testing and project management. A background within the Copyright or Publishing Industry is seen an additional qualification.

Likely to be educated to degree level, or with equivalent professional experience and track-record. You’re furthermore determined, organized, self-motivated and passionate about quality, clarity, efficiency and customer focus. You will also need excellent written and oral skills in German and English, and be willing to travel frequently across Europe. The position will be based in Berlin.
